EXIT THROUGH THE GIFT SHOP

I really can't say enough about Mr. Banksy and his "documentary" EXIT THROUGH THE GIFT SHOP. If you haven't seen it, you should do so. Even if you aren't the slightest bit interested in "street art". All debate of whether or not it's a hoax put aside, it's an amazing statement about our society in general and how quickly we are to jump on whatever the next big thing is, despite whether or not it has any true substance. And even if you choose not to take that from it, it is hilarious and sad and has some super rare footage of some of the biggest names in graffiti and street art. I've never finished watching a film and felt more compelled to make, or do something important.

And now, it's up for an Academy Award, thus making it even more brilliant should it actually be a hoax. But who accepts should it win? Certainly not Banksy. Here's what Juxtapoz has to say about it:
